Astronomy is the oldest science and for thousands of years has greatly influenced human perception. The EAAE was founded in 1995 to promote Astronomy Education. It is a charitable organisation registered at the European Southern Observatory's site at Garching near Munich. The EAAE helps organise major astronomy education events across Europe. 21st EAAE Summer School, held in Faro, Portugal. The Catch-a-Star Competition Details are posted on the EAAE Home Page. Membership of the EAAE: Is open to all Europeans actively involved in Astronomy Education Is free and available to all who seek to promote astronomy education. All you need to do is to register on the EAAE Home Page. We stongly encourage you to register and to be part of a great European movement.
